Pet-friendly Places in Dallas

Dallas, like other cities, has adapted to the trend of individuals wanting to take their precious pooches everywhere they go. There is a large list of pet-friendly restaurants, stores, and parks available to people.

While some cities offer only stores that are specifically geared to pets as pet-friendly, Dallas counts on its list of dog-friendly shopping destinations, including Neiman Marcus and Pottery Barn. There is also a wide variety of restaurants that allow dogs to sit and dine on the patio while their owners dine indoors. This list of restaurants includes a wide variety of fast-food restaurants, as well as nicer, “sit-down” restaurants.

Another option available to the indulgent pet owner is the dog-friendly park. There are parks available that allow dogs off the leash and some that require a leash. As a general rule of thumb, it is always better to ask first before showing up with your pooch. Better to know your dog is allowed than be forced to leave early when the dog isn’t supposed to be somewhere.
